Aspen Grove is a 70 acre family farm and ancestral land, with a homestead dating to 1785, several barns, a log cabin that my grandfather had built in the 30’s and a large pond. I am living in the ‘Marriott Homestead’ (first built in 1785, added on in the 1830’s) since mid 2016 when I moved back to NC after living in New Jersey and China.
Reconnecting with nature, painting the landscape as well as offering others the opportunity to visit and create and collaborate in this beautiful rural environment have given expanded meaning to living at Aspen Grove.
Workshops, classes and artists’ retreats will be offered through Aspen Grove and my studio. Contact me at 919 414-4170 to arrange a visit or for information.
